Well, on the MikeSurgery branch, I've gotten rid of the macrology and
made things compositional.  AFAIK, that part works pretty well, but,
of course, is out of synch with the the documentation.

I'm waiting for the time and opportunity to complete that work, but
that's presently pretty difficult, what with career changes and moving
into a new apartment.  I'll get around to it eventually, I just can't
tell presently when exactly that will be.

I also fixed a few bugs in the head, but my focus now is exclusively
on the branch.
