Yes, you are welcome to join.  As a first step subscribe
yourself to schematics-development.  You'll want to
coordinate with Francisco who has done most of the work on
the current SRFI ports.  I'm a bit wary about granting
admin rights as I have done in the past; the Schematics
project now has a large number of inactive developers who I
can't remove and whose presence makes certain tasks
difficult.  So I would prefer you to produce some code
before I add you.
