Hi Andrew, I want to let you know I appreciate the work you are doing porting SchemeUnit to SISC, though at the moment I don't have the time to join in the effort. Regarding the tension between portability and features, I think we should resolve it in favour of features. As I understand your work to date doesn't require any change to the SchemeUnit code (except removing module forms I guess). Should a situation arise where a change would be necessary I'd rather fork the code than lose a PLT-specific feature. I think everyone wants their library to feel like native code, not ports.
