The current (v1.8) Scheme48 manual mentions s48_extract_string in
Section 8.5.2, page 96. That should be removed.

While I'm at it, in Section 8.1.1, page 91, the manual mentions the
structure "dynamic-externals". I believe that's incorrect; it's
"load-dynamic-externals".

I already have the code and will have a look before I do anything
substantive with the old FFI.
