  I've been using newlisp (www.newlisp.org) a little in the past few
  years. My interest would be both web and system programming. 
  I will be using it more as time goes by.

  I think it is worth checking out. The developer appears to be
  very accessable. Code base is small.

  Many common lisp programmers hate newlisp. :)
  Others common lispers use it.
