Scheme48 already has x86_64 support. scsh 0.6.7 does not though, since it has its own ancient version of s48 pulled into the source. The version of scsh I'm working on here <http://code.google.com/p/scsh/> doesn't include s48, and builds on the version installed on the system, so it'll have x86_64 support. Unfortunately though, it depends on the next version of s48, 1.9, which hasn't been released yet. It should be released soon, but i'm not sure when. The last commit on the s48 development repo was a draft of the release notes <http://www.s48.org/cgi-bin/hgwebdir.cgi/s48>. Moreover, the version of scsh I'm working on, which I'll call 0.7, isn't done yet itself. I'll post here when I'm done, but I can only say "soon" for that as well. -Roderic On Thu, Dec 9, 2010 at 12:29 PM, PILCH Hartmut <[email protected]> wrote: >> Meanwhile my scsh RPM package that I am re-compiling for every OpenSuse >> version, this time 11.3 with, for the first time, the x86_64 architectur= e >> instead of i586, is breaking: > > Having read more closely, I understand that this was to be expected. > > Is there any hope of getting x86_64 support for Scheme48 soon? > > -- > Hartmut Pilch =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 http://= a2e.de/phm > >
