Hello! The macro lookup-def that has been discussed here a few times is now in use in SSAX/SXML. The macro is implemented as R5RS syntax-rules (on Scheme48, PLT Scheme, SCM, Petite Chez Scheme) and as a low-level macro on Bigloo and Gambit. The syntax and the semantics are the same in all the cases. The implementation is in the file SSAX/lib/lookup-def.scm and in various myenv-*.scm files. The file SSAX/tests/vmyenv.scm contains the regression tests. Michael Sperber has kindly described the macro in SSAX/lib/packages.scm and tested the macro on PLT Scheme and Scheme48. All uses of an earlier version of lookup-def (specifically, in SXML-to-HTML-ext.scm) have been corrected. Terrence Brannon was correct: lookup-def seems to be of general utility indeed. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click
