Oh, sure -- didn't mean to cast aspersions on SXML, or Scheme for that
matter.  But DOM provides some nifty things (like event handling) that
SXML, out of the box, does not.  Perhaps something like "SDOM" would
be more apropos (with an SXML->SDOM mapping) would make more sense. 
Or not.
