Hello!

I'd like to point out an article on SXML and SSAX, which is
just published on the IBM DeveloperWorks online magazine:

	http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-matters31.html

I have learned about the article as I always learn about such things:
from web server logs (specifically, from Referrer headers of client
hits). That is to say, I never knew the article was coming and I
contributed absolutely nothing to it. I don't even know the author and
don't recall exchanging any messages with him. He must've have figured
everything out on his own. The article is very good. It is a
well-written exposition and tutorial on SSAX and SXML.

Interestingly the author used Guile to run all his
examples. I learned thus that SSAX and SXML seem to work OK on that
platform. I personally have never tried that system. It may be a
great Scheme implementation. However I have six Scheme systems
installed on my computer (Bigloo, Gambit, SCM, Gauche, Scheme48, and
Petite Chez), against which I test my code. I just have to draw the
line somewhere.
