Hi all I'm quite new to Scheme, can write some basic functions etc., and would like to process and generate some XML in Scheme using SXML. I am running Gambit Scheme (the REPL tells me it is version "4.0 beta 17"). I have downloaded and unpacked SXML and have had a look at the README files and the makefiles, but I'm still not sure what I need to do to use SXML within Gambit. I wonder if anyone would be able to point me to, or send me by email, a very simple short tutorial on the very basics of getting stated using the library---just a few lines of Scheme is what I'm after. Once I've got started I'd hope to be able to use the existing documentation to use the library. I have found the article at (http:// www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-matters31.html), but the author uses Guile rather than Gambit and seems to refer to files that are not in the version of SXML I have, so the tutorial hasn't helped me much so far.
