undefined namespace prefix "xml"

Hello,

I've found that parsing XPath "@xml:id" fails due to undefined namespace
prefix "xml". But the namespace specification says that the prefix "xml"
is always implicitely defined.

What do you think, should I submit this issue as a bug, or is it better to
implement a workaround in my application?
