Hello!

These are Chicken's own enhancements. The plain SXML->HTML uses the
the universal-conversion rules with the simplistic entag procedure.
The universal-conversion-rules are meant as a more-or-less sane
default, the fallback. Users are encourage to prepend rules for
specific tags, such TEXTAREA (or application-specific tags like
biblio, etc which expand in standard HTML elements in perhaps complex
ways).
Since it was Chicken developers who enhanced the simplistic SXML->HTML
rules with tag-specific processing, please let them know about
TEXTAREA.
Cheers,
Oleg
