Hello! I am pleased to preannounce the new version of SXPath which contains several improvements and support for navigating XLink links. Its primary features are: - Fast ascending axes (parent::, ancestor::, etc.) due to the idea of context implemented. - Seamless integration with SXPath "native" syntax, including user-defined lambdas as path steps. - XPath is extended with features for natural navigation over multiple (S)XML documents through XLink links. - SXLink arcs are represented in SXML, and thus can be queried by conventional location steps. - A single function call (to xlink:documents) performes all the routine work for loading documents, creating SXLink arcs from XLink links and associating each SXLink arc with the corresponding SXML nodes in the document. Please visit my homepage at http://modis.ispras.ru/Lizorkin/ New SXPath packages for Bigloo, PLT, Chicken and Gambit are available for download. Your feedback is very welcome!
