Sorry, you're right, I should have announced this here (and on
sbcl-announce, too).  Sourceforge has "upgraded" the sbcl project to
their new "Allura" version of their forge software hosting, and in the
process the repository locations have changed, with the old location at
  <git://sbcl.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/sbcl/sbcl.git> 
being now read-only.  The new version at 
  <git://git.code.sf.net/p/sbcl/sbcl>
is the one that will receive developer commits.  The mirrors at github
and gitorious are, I believe, updated to pull from the new repository,
but if those are not working it would also be good to hear reports.

(Clearly you don't follow me on twitter, which is where all the exciting
news is these days. :-)
