Sorry, you're right, I should have announced this here (and on sbcl-announce, too). Sourceforge has "upgraded" the sbcl project to their new "Allura" version of their forge software hosting, and in the process the repository locations have changed, with the old location at <git://sbcl.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/sbcl/sbcl.git> being now read-only. The new version at <git://git.code.sf.net/p/sbcl/sbcl> is the one that will receive developer commits. The mirrors at github and gitorious are, I believe, updated to pull from the new repository, but if those are not working it would also be good to hear reports.
