SBCL20: travel sponsorship available

Dear all,

Thanks to the generosity of 3E <http://3e.eu>, I'm pleased to be able to
say that there are funds available to support some travel costs for
anyone, but particularly students and unwaged, hoping to attend SBCL20
but put off by travel costs.

If that describes you: please write to me (at this e-mail address) with
a description of why you would like to attend and what you might hope to
contribute to the activities, and an estimate of travel costs.  Please
could you aim to do that by close of business on Friday 27th September;
a small panel will look at the applications and come to some kind of
decision about allocating funds.

Please note that funds are limited!  We most likely will not be able to
support everyone who applies, nor pay 100% of costs.  (Please also be
reasonable with estimates).  And if you're reading this and have an
organization which might be willing to chip in to help people attend,
please let me know!
