ECL

I was also curious as to whether anyone was looking into supporting ECL 
(these questions are mostly so I don't step on anyone else's toes, 
should I decide to to embark upon it myself). Also, if anyone _has_ 
looked into it, were there any particular obstacles?

It's the dominant lisp where I work (because of its embeddability), so 
I figured it might be a good place to direct my efforts.
