USQL on LWw

Hello,

I'm looking for a free solution to replace CommonSQL, on 
MSWindows. It's for a small project that could be written in Lisp 
instead of Java, if I am able to find tools that fits in the 
budget. ACL that I have used quite a lot is out of reach. Same thing for LW Enterprise.

It seems that USQL is now available on Windows. My question is : 
today, how reliable are USQL and its MySQL support, on LW and MS 
Windows? (MySQL is not a requirement, any other good cheap or free RDBMS would go).
