I can't speak for the current maintainer situation (but see later), but
i'm using SBCL/UncommonSQL in a production system together with araneida
and parts of UncommonWeb without any problems so far (Debian stable with 
local patches). I actually did post a bugreport as well as a patch for
recent UncommonSQL to be used from SBCL. I even filed a bugreport on the
official bugtracker. Unfortunately neither the offical USQL nor the Debian
paket have been fixed. For anyone trying to get it work, have a look at
