Regarding my work on ourdoings.com (Scheme, not CL), my uncle protested
about requiring passwords that it wasn't worth it to have passwords for
every site you go to, even ones you don't visit often.  If you have to
choose between using the same password everywhere and forgetting your
password, that's no good.  I made a "Send login link" button on the
login page so that you can authenticate each time by email if you so
choose.  This feature can be turned off, but is handy for many.

By the way, is Scheme-based web programming still on topic for this
list?
