Hi, I'm trying to get araneida 0.90.1 working with SBCL 0.9.2 on a fairly vanilla Ubuntu 5.10 debian installation, without luck. I thought I'd ask here before giving up until the next version is released. I'm able to do the asdf install process of araneida in the documentation, and run/compile the example.lisp, but no luck pointing my web browser to http://localhost:8000, and this is with firewalling off and no other webserver running. A also had no luck installing the 'tutorial.lsp' mentioned here last month using the -testing branch of araneida, but I'm not too familiar with the asdf system and so probably messed up installing the -testing branch. I know there is a debian package available as well, but I haven't figured out how to make use of it. Without going into detail about everything I tried (although I suspect it could have something to do with thread handling, but that is probably wrong), has anyone successfully set up araneida on debian using just the example.lisp server and associated instructions? Are there any known-but-not-publicized tweaks necessary? Thanks for any pointers. Shane Mueller
