Filtering questions. Date sorting etc.

Hi everyone,

I asked this in the newsgroup but it was either missed or not
answered yet. Perhaps someone here can help ?


I cannot find "help" on using "date" filtering. Can someone tell me
please 
where I find it ? What syntax to use etc.

(A) For example. How do I filter posts in a newsgroup so that only
posts 
since the 5th of November 2002 appear ?

(B) Could I filter on date (as (A)) AND on a regexp such as "Dialog"
? If 
so how could I do that please ? Or are "date" and "subject" mutually 
exclusive ?

(C) With the answer to (A) and/or (B) is there some way to convert
the 
answer to a "view" so that I can have multiple filtering options
quickly 
available as a choice ? If so then how can I do that please ?
