I just want to try to be forgiven: here is a way around that is far 
from perfect but that could perhaps help you:

If you create a folder name for example 'mysent' and add a scroring 
rule to all groups like this:
!copy(mysent) From "Your name" 
where your name is all or part of what you see in your from: 
information in the header (H shortcut) of your 
own messages.

So, all the message that you send to a group are copied when you 
receive them into 'mysent'. As 'mysent' is an ordinary 
folder, you can use the move window shortcut to move them in the 
folder of your choice.

And, as 'a cherry on the cake', you can hide all the messages in the 
standard 'sent' folder with a filter like 'Age > 1000'
