Jeff is right, we're hoping customization won't to be too much of a burden. A couple factors may help. Style sheets can cascade from different servers. For example, let's say company A stores list archives with The Mail Archive and wants a custom logo on message pages. A could write their own cacading style sheet and host it on an A's server. The only configuration role for The Mail Archive is to make sure that the A's style sheet is part of the cascade. Also, it may be possible to enable some configuration control using incoming messages themselves. For example, the list admin could put in special RFC822 headers on messages that activate a configuration change. Or add special subscribers to the list. Anyway, we're still deciding on the exact mechanisms and analyzing pontial abuse vectors. Hopefully we will come up with something reasonable. As always, suggestions appreciated. Cheers, Jeff
