More "default" parameters to the registry

I was just asked about return receipts in an application that we use, and which relies on blat to send out messages...  Unfortunately, the application itself does not have any support for return receipts (DSNs) but I was heartened to see that blat does.

Unfortunately, since the app has no knowledge of them, and I cannot modify the call to blat from within the app, I was hoping to see a default that could be saved in the registry (or elsewhere) to ALWAYS request a DSN for all messages.  Unfortunately, I don't see that as an option...

Is there any thought in putting more configurable defaults into blat?  Or, does anybody know of an elegant way to force the addition of the extra parameter?  (I did play around with the idea of a batch file that gets called instead of the executable, but am not sure if that will work yet...)
