Failed to open registry key for Blat
To set the SMTP server's name/address and your username/email address for that
server machine do:
bla t -install server_name your_email_address
or use '-server <server_name>' and '-f <your_email_address>'
aborting, nothing sent
If I remember correctly (and I may not), Blat will look for select settings in the Registry if they are not included in the command line
Looks like it is looking for the From email address ( -f<your email address>)
and the STMP server name (-server<server name>) to use and does not find any entries in the Registry
Question – is there a space as highlighted here?

Since the error sounds more like O/S message than Blat, can you try with command line prompt which does not have ">" in it - the "device" could be seen here as whatever is on the RHS of ">".

This is what I get after removing the space.

The device is not ready.
When I run my .bat file from the actual file that has the Blat exe.
