Switching from 25 to 1099 will need to be done in blat also - just in case you overlooked that...

Hopefully you also mentioned the IP address at which stunnel would be listening (blat's SMTP).

Your blat command, if you post here, will definitely be more helpful to understand what's going on.

  Thanks, I have tried 465 as well as 587, neither worked.  I also switched from port 25 to 1099 and still the same problem :(



  My next step is to see if I can use wireshark to see what is happening.
