Thanks Glenn, your suggestion was correct as it seems to have been waiting for keyboard input. I now use the following line with success:
  
 
BLAT.exe Body.txt -to JDMils@... -server smtp.myDomain.com -subject "[Source Server: MyServerName| Scheduled Task Name: STN| BatchFile Name: C:\Scripts\STN.bat]" -sig Signature.txt -attacht C:\Scripts\RESULT_STN.TXT
