1. Polling -- In my previous mail I had shown a VBscript file which polls in fixed intervals the given directory/folder/file
2. Interrupt -- there must be a way to register for being informed by the system about changes in folders and directories, otherwise the FreeCommander (and probably TotalCommander etc) would not be able to show changes in the directories which they display in their split window. But, sorry, I am not so deep in Windows system interface. With VBscript this is not possible, if I am not mistaken.
