Sorry for the long delay, this Thursday finally i have found time,
and doing this before i hopefully come to the idea i have for my
MUA, ok?!?  And i have a draft that somehow works, but it is yet
a bit buggy: the transaction cache does not work the way
i thought, and actually have tested on a small DB with a little
test program.  And we do not yet support multiple readers, which
causes some tests to fail.  It is too late now, i have to go, and
revisit that on Monday.

And also i was unsure first whether anything is placed inside
transactions or not, for example, which is why that is somewhat
messy.  Testing that i have yet done shows that anything is done
inside an active transaction, so i can clean that up massively.

Anyway, i am writing this message because i stumbled over the fact
that a "bogoutil -d" opens the database read-only, but then tries
to put .WORDLIST_VERSION (without trying to read that first), and
fails if that does not work.  That happens on r7059, which
i downloaded as a base.  For now i succeed blindly when trying to
put something in a read-only DB.
State of this current mess:
