DMARC helper freezes, can't kill

I’m having trouble with DMARC-scan.  If I start it, eventually the 
Helpers page shows in red that it is not running, but when I try to 
disable it, CGP is unable to kill it after 10 minutes.  I had to 
force-quit CGP twice.

Check SPF records is set to Add Header (though I never see them in 
received mail) and the specified server-wide rule is set. The file 
“DMARC.pl” has the necessary redefined variables, directory 
“DMARC_reports” exists, and both are located in 
/private/var/CommuniGate.  The program path is set to “/usr/bin/perl 
/var/CommuniGate/DMARC.pl”.  Am I overlooking something obvious?  Log:
