DKIM_verify keeps quitting

Mail::DKIM::Verifier is up to date (0.4).

The helper keeps quitting. This was a surprise; I had installed it
yesterday (13-Oct-2016) and it seemed to be quite happy verifying DKIM
sigs. Then it quit about 1pm. We did not notice this right away until
this morning (14-Oct-2016) around 9am. I modified the helper to restart
after 5 secs of non-functioning.

It has restarted several times since then.

17-Oct-2016: I had changed the logging level to "All Info" to possibly
capture more info about the termination. There has been no problem with
the helper since then, even though the log level was restored to
"Problems" yesterday.

If this should happen in the future, what should I do to debug it?
