deleting messages in local Maildir

Hi,

I have just installed cone 0.66 and so far it works
very well exept for one thing:

I am accessing a local Maildir which works so far but
when I try to delete messages nothing happens. The
messages get marked as "Deleted" but they are still
there in the list and readable.
What am I doing wrong?
