buglet: UW-IMAP folders missing message count

I'm using Cone 0.68 to read mail from a UW-IMAP server. I followed the 
advice in the FAQ to make the $HOME/mail directory top-level, so that I only 
had INBOX and the mail folder visible. I deleted the others.

What I observe with this setup is that if I open the "mail" folder to reveal 
subfolders, none of them show message counts. If I then open one of the 
subfolders, and go back to the folders screen, I see the message count for 
that folder. If I switch to another subfolder, I can then see its message 
count, but that of the first subfolder has disappeared. This is not a 
problem with the functionality, but mildly annoying, as I cannot see how 
many messages are in each folder. My understand is that for any folder at 
the top-level, cone is supposed to show the message count.
