If "nothing happens" and there is no further response from Cone, this  
happens if the LDAP server is down. Hitting "Save" attempts to contact the  
LDAP server. The timeout is about a minute, or so.

If the connection fails immediately, there'll be an error message, but if  
there's no response, you'll hang for a few minutes, before timing out.

Or perhaps you did not enter the directory name. This is an arbitrary label.  
If not specified, the cursor jumps back to it, that may be the other  
possibility, in your case.

Aside from those possibilities, you should get an error message if the LDAP  
server refused connection. If the configuration succeeds, you're going to go  
back to the previous screen, with your new directory listed as one of the  
address books.
