Mark As Read

Is there anyway to mark new emails as Read in Cone? There are some emails 
that I don't want to open, so I want to just mark them as Read so my inbox 
doesn't continue to show that email as new.

I've searched and searched and have repeadetly went through Cone's options, 
but cannot find a way to do this.

Hopefully somebody knows how to Mark new emails as Read.
