Despite having written an eloquent editorial, you have exhibited an  
astonishing lack of understanding of the subject matter at hand.

An SSL certificate mismatch, with a server's hostname, has no logical  
relation to anything that might be called a "terminal address".

Before offering advice on these kind of topics, it's always a good idea to  
actually have some fundamental understanding of how things like SSL  
certificate validation works.
