ctrl+k very slow

Hello,

In Cone's editor when I want to remove some lines and use ctrl+k to do 
that there's a lag between key presses and the actual deletion. The 
problem goes away if I reply using the external editor, but I'd like to 
keep using the internal one. Any workarounds?
