Changes:

• Rewrite I/O to use the poll() syscall instead of select().  This 
fundamental change affects all network protocols, and affects every 
platform.  Potential compilation/portability issues.

• Allow the default setting for post-and-mail option (for netnews posting) 
to be specified on the setup screen.

• Implemented intra-message search.  When display a message press "/" to 
search the message for a text string.
