Mail status characters in list view

Hi Mr Sam,

first of all, thanks for your continued work on the cone mail client!  
I've been using it since 2005 now and nothing else has ever come close to  
being as fast and efficient as cone.

I have a small question: I recently updated cone to the most recent version,  
and now the message status characters in the list view have changed (unread  
mail used to be shown with an 'N', now it's a diamond character).

Where in the code do you define these characters? I'd like to patch them  
back to what they were.
