What exactly is the problem with using a single SMTP server for all mail 
accounts?

That shouldn't be necessary.  If the authentication fails, Cone should 
prompt for the new password.

In any case, there is really no reason to use multiple smtp servers.  SMTP 
servers are completely independent from the individual mail accounts.
