EPS library

I understand that you have an EPS library capable of processing email
headers.

Do you have a recommendation where I can find open source code
to send/receive emails from POP/SMTP servers from within my GNU C
programs.

Before I can process the header, I must be able to retrieve the message
first.

Before I can send a message with attachment, I will have to create a
header using EPS.

But I am having trouble finding code that allows me to do this.

So I am looking for the next logical extension to EPS, which is to
retrieve/send email with attachments
programmatically.
