Exim 4.40 release

I have just put Exim release 4.40 on the primary ftp site:

There are quite a few new features in this release, and some performance
enhancements, as well as some general tidies and bug fixes.

As usual, all changes are in the doc/ChangeLog file and new features are
described in the doc/NewStuff file. See also the README.UPDATING file for
changes that might impact on some installations. The manual has been updated
for this release.

The primary ftp server is in Cambridge, England. There is a list of mirrors in:

The distribution files are signed with Philip Hazel's GPG key; the signature
