You could try something like, find /var/spool/exim/SAspamaccept -mtime +7 -print0 | xargs -0 rm Which will remove anything modified (or created in this case) over seven days. The -0 deals with the horrid filenames being produced. You could have this scheduled to happen at regular intervals. Look in man 5 crontab and man 1 crontab.
