turning debugging off

I keep getting messages like this in /var/log/maillog
	Jun 29 05:24:22 redivi spamd[25542]: info: setuid to exim succeeded

there are about 5 lines per message

i'm confidant this isn't from sa-exim, because in 
/usr/exim/spamassassin.conf i have:
	SAEximDebug:0

but i can't find any spamd startup script or info that has debugging 
turned on.  so i'm just lost.

this is probably more of a sa-talk question -- but there's an offchance 
this is some weird sa-exim interaction thing so i post here.
