(Sorry for the top post... Outlook and all that...) SA-Exim invokes SA at SMTP time. It is not designed to be used with individual user settings, since a single SMTP message can be addressed to multiple recipients. This design is similar to Exim in general, as local_part isn't available during SMTP time either. There was a thread a while back about hacking SA-Exim to respect individual user's settings, but I can't recall how well it worked. Check the archives. Hello I just installed sa-exim and I am trying to get it to work with spamassassian using mysql. I am running exim4 with cyrus imap and have virtual users so I want to store their whitelist in mysql. Everything works accpet it seems when I use sa-exim all mail going to spamassassin looks like it is coming from the debian-exim user instead of the user who is in the from field. Is this how it was designed? Is there anyway I can change this so that all mail passed to spamc will look like it is coming from the from address? Thanks so much. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
