Maybe you should try Postfix snapshot and amavisd-new + SpamAssassin.
They're good, too. Then you won't have to make the intellectual effort
of learning Exim. (Just like me ;)

Only never, never post anything like the above on those lists. Don't
tangle with Venema or his lieutenants - they too live to help others.
