Perfect would a "talkative" dense version like from
EHLO smtp.example.com
...
to
QUIT

I am surveying on (in)correct behavior of systems and thought before I grep and hurdle around "unexpected|non-properly" etc. lines there might be a more simple solution. As in "A question might save a month in a lab" ;-)
Not that I was expecting it to e that simple.
