net-iplsearch does do a sequential search, but because it is dumb ^W^W is pleasantly
simple to code.  So do all of the lsearch variants you had.

You could also look into the (experimental) nmh lookup, if your lists of CIDRs
are extensive.  It uses indexed lookups.
