Also -- this may be off for reasons of scale or what not, but -- IME
using a generic delivery agent like procmail to feed the dovecot store
is not wrong. What dovecot-lda gives you is indexing at delivery time,
but that is not strictly necessary, the POP and IMAP servers will
reindex at client connect time if needed.
