Probably worth noting that there are new files in src/miscmods:
     sieve_filter_body.c sieve_filter_input.c sieve_filter.h

I would say that existing users building in an existing directory
(git users especially) need to rerun
     src/scripts/MakeLinks
... except that that script will notice that it is a rerun and bail out.

Options include (not seriously tested):
cleaning out the build directory src/build-<OS>-<arch>

   rm src/src/version.*h src/build-<OS>-<arch>/version.*h
   sh src/src/scripts/MakeLinks

   for file in sieve_filter_body.c sieve_filter_input.c sieve_filter.h ; do
     ln -s ../../src/miscmods/$file src/build-<OS>-<arch>/miscmods/
   done
